Soursop | Guanabana Fruit Box
from $109.00 $119.00
Guanabana Fruit Soursop fruit, guanabana, graviola: three names for the same exotic fruit, depending on which country your kitchen learned its tropical recipes from. Tropical Fruit Box carries soursop year-round when supply allows, sold by weight in 3, 5, and 10-pound boxes because every guanabana fruit grows to its own irregular shape and size. The flavor is what everyone agrees on. Bite into ripe soursop fruit and you get creamy white flesh closer in consistency to a smashed banana than a juicy citrus, a flavor profile that lands somewhere between pineapple and strawberry, and a sour citrus finish that earns the English name. Our soursop ships from family farm partners across Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, flown into Miami and shipped the day it arrives. Free U.S. shipping covers every order, with the Arrive Fresh Guarantee on every soursop fruit box. Why Choose Soursop Fruit from Tropical Fruit Box? Hand-handled and shipped the same day it arrives in our Miami warehouse, with the Arrive Fresh Guarantee covering every soursop fruit box. Soursop sourced direct from family farm partners across Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, with biweekly air shipments to Miami during peak season. Free U.S. shipping on every soursop box, available in 3, 5, or 10-pound sizes to match how much guanabana fruit you actually plan to use. Tropical Fruit Box was built so families across the U.S. could buy soursop and other rare tropical fruits direct from the same farms that supply major retailers. You Might Also Like Cherimoya Fruit Box: the closest cousin to soursop in flavor and texture, with a custard-apple sweetness and similarly creamy white flesh. Atemoya Box: a hybrid of soursop's relatives the cherimoya and sugar apple, with a softer, sweeter flavor profile. Mamey Sapote Box: another rare tropical fruit with dense, soft flesh, popular in the same Caribbean and Central American kitchens that love guanabana. Caribbean Tropical Fruits: the wider regional collection covering soursop, mamey, sapodilla, and other exotic fruits from the islands. Find the Best Soursop Fruit For... Smoothies, Shakes, and Champola The best soursop fruit for smoothies, shakes, and the Brazilian champola drink because the creamy guanabana flesh blends easily without needing extra thickener. Order the 5 or 10-pound soursop box if you blend regularly. Eating Ripe with a Spoon The best guanabana fruit for eating ripe straight from the skin, scooped with a spoon. Wait until the soursop yields to gentle pressure, then halve and dig in. Family Recipes from the Diaspora The best place to buy soursop fruit if you grew up calling it guanabana or graviola. Our soursop ships from the same farms used by Caribbean and Latin American kitchens. A First Taste of Soursop The best soursop box for first-timers is the small 3-pound size, with one or two soursop fruits to figure out the flavor before committing to a larger guanabana fruit order.

Cacao Fruit Box
from $109.00
Cacao Fruit also called Cacao pods is not what you'd expect. It's much better! Did you know that the literal translation for Cacao’s scientific name means “Food of the Gods”? The Olmecs, an ancient civilization from what is now Mexico, were the first to use Cacao Fruit over 3,500 years ago. They obviously didn’t know what they had because if they did, we’d all be speaking Olmec right now… Instead, the just the airport in Brussels, Belgium sells over 800 tons of chocolate every year but, we digress. Cacao Fruit and Chocolate Cacao Pods are these American football shape-inspired fruits and coincidentally are where Chocolate comes from. Yes, the name is a little confusing and we get a lot of people asking for cocoa fruit, cocoa, cacao... does it even matter, at the end it all comes form the cacao bean that lives inside the fruit. The taste couldn’t be any more different than the delicacy we’ve been groomed to gift to our loved ones. The white flesh has a pretty delicious zingy sweet flavor, it’s hard to describe its tart, fruity, citrusy flavor with mango and pineapple notes. The seeds are the ones used to actually make Chocolate and when you bite into them, you can taste what unprocessed pure chocolate is like. The regular box contains 4 pieces of Cacao Fruits and the large box has 6 pieces of this Food of the Gods. Don’t wait, order your box of Cacao fruit today.

Mamey is the big, brown-skinned sapote with sweet orange-red flesh that tastes like sweet potato meets pumpkin pie, grown in Florida and shipped fresh to your door. Fresh Mamey Fruit From Florida Farms This box brings you fresh mamey fruit in an 8 or 12 pound order, and these red mamey sapote are grown right here in Florida and tend to run huge. It is rich enough to eat with a spoon straight from the skin and even better blended into a classic mamey shake or batido. Just do not confuse it with black sapote, which is a different fruit altogether. We created this box because so many people kept asking where to buy mamey online, and ours comes from the same family farms our growers have tended for decades. Cuban and Caribbean Kitchens Mamey is a staple for cooks bringing tropical flavor home, from ice creams to milkshakes to desserts. Its pumpkin and honey notes carry the taste many grew up with across Cuba and the Caribbean. First-Time Tropical Eaters Mamey fruit suits anyone new to tropical produce who wants something rich and approachable. Tropical Avocados Small Box Tropical Avocado Box Tropical Fruit Box Produce Box
Tropical Avocado Box
from $49.00
If you haven’t tried Tropical Avocados, you are in for a treat. To my family, the Tropical Avocado has always been known as an Aguacate, pronounced (ah-gwa-kah-tee). This variety is a staple food in the Caribbean and Latin America where it’s been the most popular variety for generations. Tropical Avocados are also known as green skin avocados because of their shiny and gorgeous shade of green. They are a source of good fats, are hearty, yummy, and are full of nutrients. How do Tropical Avocados taste like? When it comes to taste, they are pretty similar to the Haas avocado although slightly sweeter. They are creamy, luscious, and delicious. They spread very easily and have a buttery and creamy smooth texture. They have a light yellow and green color inside, and the seed can be brittle but that’s OK. The reality is that they are very similar to the avocados you are used to. How are Tropical Avocados better? Larger in size: The first thing you’ll notice is that they are humongous compared to the varieties you can buy at the supermarket. Each Tropical Avocado is about the equivalent of 4 Haas avocados. You can prep just one and feed your whole family. Longer cut life: One of my pet peeves with those other avocados is that they turn black and the flavor changes right away, in the industry they call that oxidizing. The Tropical Avocados oxidize much slower which means that you can cut them and leave them out for longer. You can even keep one in the fridge wrapped in foil for two to three days after you cut them. How do you know when they are ripe? These avocados are ripe while the skin is still green, which is a little confusing if you are not used to them. Luckily, there is a simple way to know when they are ready. How? When you squeeze them and they give in just a little, they are ready to eat. Where are they from? These avocados are grown in the tropics on a beautiful farm in the Dominican Republic and in the off season over there, they come from beautiful and sunny Florida, where we are based. They grow with plenty of natural rain in nutrient-rich soil. They are naturally large, non-GMO and delicious. Our Large Box comes with about 8 Large Tropical Avocados. Our Regular Box has 4 Large Tropical Avocados.

Fresh Longans, Sweet and Juicy This box brings you fresh longans in a 3, 5, or 8 pound order, picked from the family farms our growers have worked for generations. Crack the thin tan shell and you find translucent flesh wrapped around a dark seed, which is how longan dragon eye earned its name. The flesh is succulent, sweet, and incredibly juicy, with a flavor close to grape and a light, musky floral note. Longan is a close cousin of the lychee and rambutan, a little smaller and a touch less sweet, with its own personality. Eat fresh longan fruit straight from the shell, drop it into fruit salads, or blend it into sorbets and smoothies. Once you start it is genuinely hard to stop. Every order ships with our Arrive Fresh Guarantee, so your longans arrive juicy and ready to peel. Best Ways to Enjoy Longan Snacking Straight From the Shell Fresh longan fruit is made for easy snacking. Pinch the thin shell, pop out the juicy flesh, and discard the seed. Their grape-like sweetness makes longans the kind of fruit that disappears by the handful. Smoothies and Sorbets Longans blend beautifully into sorbets, smoothies, and chilled desserts. The sweet, juicy flesh adds a floral, grape-like note, a refreshing base for warm-weather treats once you peel and seed the fruit. Fruit Salads and Desserts Fresh longan brightens any fruit salad or dessert. Peeled and pitted, the translucent flesh pairs well with lychee, mango, and citrus for a tropical bowl with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Lychee and Rambutan Fans Longan dragon eye is a natural next pick for anyone who loves lychee or rambutan. As close cousins in the soapberry family, they share that juicy, floral character, with longan offering a milder twist.

Breadfruit (Panapen, Ulu) Box
from $89.00
Breadfruit is considered by many the food of the future, Breadfruit also called Ulu or Panapen and it's been a staple food in the Pacific islands for over 2000 years. Ulu is an important part of the local food tradition and folklore in Hawaii. It can be prepared like a fruit or a vegetable since it's incredibly versatile. When roasted, it feels and tastes like baked bread, hence the name. Fun facts about Breadfruit Sir Joseph Banks, a sailor who embarked with Captain Cook to Tahiti in the 18th Century famously said that if you planted 10 breadfruit trees in your life, you or your future generations would never go hungry, we paraphrase of course. It is said that the famous mutiny of the H.M.S Bounty happened because of Breadfruit! The mission of the Bounty was to transplant more than 1000 young breadfruit trees, but they arrived late. Fate would have it that in the months they spent waiting, the crew grew enchanted with the island and didn’t want to leave. Forced to depart, the unhappiness of the crew eventually turned into mutiny. So there you have it, breadfruit has a long history! According to scientists, it has an amazing future in the food security of many nations and the world. Sir Joseph Banks was right! Order your Breadfruit box today, please note they are not currently mature.

Sweet Tamarind Fruit Box
from $49.00
Tamarind fruit is loved all over the world. Growing up, we just knew them as tamarindo fruit, and we thought it only had one flavor. We were so wrong! There are two main varieties of Tamarind, the sour one that makes you feel like you sucked on 100 lemons (the one we knew as kids)  and the sweet tamarind fruit that brings the best of the fruit world in a nicely packaged pod that will take your fruit game to a whole new level. Once you start eating the sweet tamarind, you can’t eat just one; it’s that good! Coming from Thailand, this sweet variety is known as “makham wan” and our Tropifruiters love it for its uniquely complex flavor that leaves you wondering… did nature just overdo itself? That’s a resounding hell yeah! What does Sweet Tamarind fruit taste like? First, you’ll notice its sweetness, it has those brown sugar, and molasses notes perfectly balanced by its tanginess. This complex citrusy undertone, combined with the sweetness, earthy notes, and pulpy, soft, and chewy texture, is nothing less than nature’s candy. The experience of eating sweet tamarind is pretty unique if you’ve never had it. First, you crack the hard shell, then you take out the seed pod covered in the yummy pulp, but before you go crazy, you need to remove the veiny-looking branches that come out easily so you don’t feel you are eating a fishing net. Once that’s done, get ready to smudge your fingers and suck the pulp out of the seeds in a ritual that you’ll perform over and over again until the whole box is gone. We don’t recommend eating all of them in one sitting, but we’ve been known to do just that. How do you eat Tamarind Fruit? You can just eat it straight out, crack the shell, enjoy, and repeat. It’s as yummy as it’s satisfying. Kids love it, and it will keep them busy for a while; just remember to take out the seeds. Use the pulp to make traditional Thai dishes like Tamarind chicken, Pad Thai or add it to your own stir fry or sauces to give them that fancy finish. Go to town with the mixology. Take the pulp and kick up your margaritas or other fancy cocktails that will leave your friends in awe of your newly found mixology skills. Do something fun today. Order your very own box of Sweet Tamarinds and take your culinary and mixology game to a whole new level. No worries, if you are not the elaborate cuisine type, they make an awesome snack or dessert as is!

No, this banana is not angry or blushing, it’s just doing its thing, waiting to be devoured by you! What makes them different? They have a red purplish colored exterior, their flesh color is a little bit darker with an orangish color and they are slightly plumper. Other than that, if you have a sweet tooth, you’ll love them because they are sweeter than their yellow cousins. They are also denser and juicier so we could say that they are more satisfying. Sweet, creamy but not overwhelming. Some say they are like eating a banana soufflé. When do you know they are ripe? The universal banana ripeness indicator is firmness. When they start getting softer and their color lightens, they are good to go. Yuca (Cassava Root) Box
from $59.00
Yuca is the starchy, nutty cassava root at the heart of Caribbean and Latin American cooking, shipped fresh from family farms straight to your door. Fresh Yuca, the Cassava Root This box brings you fresh yuca in a 5, 8, or 16 pound order, picked from the family farms our growers have worked for generations. Yuca, the root of the cassava plant, goes by many names, including manioc, mandioca, and macaxeira, and it is a fibrous, starchy staple across the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. The flavor is mild and nutty with a smooth, dense texture once cooked. The classic preparation is simple: peel it, boil it until tender, then top it with a sofrito of sauteed onions, garlic, and olive oil brightened with sour orange or lemon. From there, yuca cassava turns into fries, mash, fritters, and the base of countless traditional dishes. Cassava yuca root must always be cooked before eating, never raw. Every order of yuca roots ships with our Arrive Fresh Guarantee, so your fresh yuca arrives firm and ready to cook. Why Choose Yuca from Tropical Fruit Box? •  Freshness Guaranteed: Your yuca arrives firm and ready to peel and cook, backed by our Arrive Fresh Guarantee. •  Sourced Direct: Grown on multigenerational family farms that have raised tropical roots for decades. •  Free Shipping on Every U.S. Order: Delivered straight to your doorstep with no minimums and no added fees. •  Women-Powered, Family-Driven: Yuca is part of our lineup because it is a root our founder grew up cooking in a Cuban-American kitchen. Best Ways to Enjoy Yuca Classic Boiled Yuca con Mojo Fresh yuca is ideal for the traditional boiled-and-dressed preparation. Peel and boil the cassava root until tender, then finish it with a garlic, olive oil, and sour orange sofrito for a Caribbean staple side. Crispy Yuca Fries Yuca cassava makes fries with a crisp exterior and a fluffy, dense interior. Boil the root first, then fry the pieces until golden for a satisfying alternative to potato fries with a nuttier flavor. Hearty Soups and Stews Cassava yuca root is a backbone of sancocho and other tropical stews. Its starchy body thickens the broth and soaks up flavor, anchoring the kind of slow-simmered meals served across Latin America. A Nutty Potato Alternative Yuca roots work as a satisfying swap for potatoes in mashes and sides, bringing a nuttier taste and denser texture. Cooks looking to vary a starchy staple find fresh yuca an easy, rewarding change.

Fresh Malanga Lila Box
from $49.00
Malanga Lila is a beautiful root vegetable. Delicious, starchy and with a down to earth taste. How do you eat Malanga Lila? You boil it, fry it, bake it, add it to hearty soups like Sancocho, puree it, mash it, whip it and make some of the most delicious fritters that will make you ponder about your relation to food and how you could have missed this all your life. Although some people think they are like potatoes, we think they are way better and taste more sophisticated. When you look at a malanga for the first time, they are not the best looking of roots. The skin is hairy and bumpy and not very nice looking but once you peel it and cook it, the flesh turns creamy and delicious with a beautiful purplish, reddish color that will mute down to a grayish color when fully cooked.

They have a very similar electrolyte and sugar composition than many of those fancy recovery drinks and they were invented by God, not in a factory. How about that? Purple Mangosteen Fruit Box
from $119.00
Fresh Mangosteen (Manggis Fruit) Mangosteen has been called the queen of fruits for centuries, partly for its regal purple rind and partly because Queen Victoria was rumoured to offer titles to anyone who could deliver fresh mangosteen to her table. We can confirm the fruit is special; we cannot offer knighthoods. Crack open the reddish-purple rind and you find a flower-shaped cluster of creamy white flesh with a flavor profile that splits the difference between lychee, strawberry, and peach. Manggis fruit (the Indonesian name) is native to Southeast Asia and now ships to the U.S. in limited windows. Each fresh mangosteen fruit box contains 3, 5, or 7 pounds of hand-picked purple mangosteen, sourced through our partners and air-shipped to Miami before going out to your door. Free U.S. shipping and the Arrive Fresh Guarantee cover every box. Why Choose Mangosteen Fruit from Tropical Fruit Box? Air-shipped to Miami in limited windows during the manggis fruit harvest season, with the Arrive Fresh Guarantee on every box. Sourced direct from family farm partners in Southeast Asia where the purple mangosteen has grown for generations. Free U.S. shipping on every mangosteen box, available in 3, 5, or 7-pound sizes to match how much fresh mangosteen you plan to share. Tropical Fruit Box was built to make rare exotic fruits like mangosteen accessible to families across the U.S., not just specialty grocers. You Might Also Like Rambutan Box: a sibling Southeast Asian fruit with similar flesh texture and a more accessible price point per pound. Longan Fruit Box: another tropical relative with a translucent, juicy flesh that mangosteen fans tend to enjoy. Asian Exotic Tropical Fruits: the wider regional collection covering rambutan, longan, lychee, and other Southeast Asian rarities. Specialty Boxes: rare and seasonal collections for shoppers who want to keep going past the queen of fruits. Best Mangosteen Fruit For... A First Taste of the Queen of Fruits The best mangosteen fruit for first-timers is the small 3-pound box. The reddish-purple rind takes practice to crack cleanly; about ten mangosteens give you room to figure it out before going larger. Sharing the Mangosteen Experience The best fresh mangosteen box for sharing with family or guests is the 7-pound size, which holds enough purple mangosteen to introduce the flavor to a group. The flower-shaped flesh segments are easy to portion. Mangosteen Smoothies and Sorbets The best mangosteen for blended drinks and frozen desserts is whatever box matches your batch size. The creamy flesh blends easily, and the lychee-strawberry-peach flavor profile holds up against yogurt, citrus, and coconut milk. Connoisseur Tropical Fruit Boxes The best mangosteen fruit for connoisseurs and tropical fruit collectors is the 5-pound box, the right balance for one or two people who want to eat manggis fruit slowly over a week without rushing.

Fresh whole Jackfruit in a Box (1 count)
$109.00
The Jackfruit is the largest fruit in the world. No kidding. Believe it or not, the Jackfruit is a close cousin of the fig and breadfruit. It grows in tropical areas; since we live in one, we can usually procure a few. The Jackfruits are hot. This is one of the hottest "newly discovered fruits" that people are using as a vegan meat replacement because of its meaty texture and excellent neutral flavor that will take the flavor of the sauce or spices you use. So, you ask, where can I find a fresh jackfruit near me? Well, you are in luck because, thanks to the internet and FedEx, you can order a fresh jackfruit, and we ship it right to your door. Isn't that a deal? How big are these Jackfruits? This fruit is enormous, we can only fit one in a box so we are talking about a single fruit. I held one up for a picture, and it was a total workout! So, you want to feel good and impress your friends? Buy Jackfruit, cook it, make something delicious and enjoy life! ***Please note jackfruit shipments come in about every 2 weeks***
