Purple Mangosteen Fruit Box from $119.00
Exotic Fruit Lovers rejoice! We’ve got the crown jewel, the queen of all fruits, the elusive, seductive, and much revered purple Mangosteen. It’s said that Queen Victoria would bestow a knighthood to anyone who could get her fresh mangosteen. Since UPS wasn't invented at the time, alas, no titles were granted. The Mangosteen is round with a reddish and purple rind with a white creamy flower-shaped flesh. The flavor is so unique that it is hard to describe. People that taste these things for a living say that it feels like a combination of a Lychee with strawberry and peach notes. We just think it tastes pretty darn special. The rind of the so-called Queen of Fruits and Fruit of the Gods has been used for its medicinal properties for centuries, but the texture and flavor are what truly leave you wanting more. Getting a fresh Mangosteen is a rare privilege, one that we can provide you, no knighthood necessary. You are most welcome! Now available in 3 box sizes!

Cacao Pod Box from $89.00
Did you know that the literal translation for Cacao’s scientific name means “Food of the Gods”? The Olmecs, an ancient civilization from what is now Mexico, were the first to use Cacao over 3,500 years ago. They obviously didn’t know what they had because if they did, we’d all be speaking Olmec right now… Instead, the just the airport in Brussels, Belgium sells over 800 tons of chocolate every year but, we digress. Cacao Pods are these American football shape-inspired fruits and coincidentally are where Chocolate comes from. The taste couldn’t be any more different than the delicacy we’ve been groomed to gift to our loved ones. The white flesh has a pretty delicious zingy sweet flavor, it’s hard to describe its tart, fruity, citrusy flavor with mango and pineapple notes. The seeds are the ones used to actually make Chocolate and when you bite into them, you can taste what unprocessed pure chocolate is like. The regular box contains 8 pounds of Cacao Pods and the large box has 16 pounds of this Food of the Gods. Don’t wait, order your box of Cacao fruit today.
Passion Fruit Box from $88.00
We finally got Passion fruit also known as Maracuya, Maracuja, Granadilla and many names all over the world! This fruit is very special. The name of it doesn't come from where you might think. The name was given by the Spanish Catholic Missionaries in the sixteenth century traveling through the South American region where this fruit is native. They called "La flor de las cinco llagas o for de la pasión" in English the fruit of the five wounds since it resembled the wounds of Christ or the fruit of passion so the name passion fruit stuck. Here is the good news. We've been waiting for it the whole year and it's great to finally be able to enjoy it. This fruit packs a punch, flavorwise it has a tropical slightly tart, and sweet taste with an unmistakable aroma. It's no coincidence why it's used in preparing drinks and some countries even make a flavored soda from it. One interesting fact is that Passion Fruit is technically a berry since the whole fruit is fleshy. Passion fruit is high on nutrients, low on calories, and packs an antioxidant punch. It contains fiber, Vitamins A and C, and minerals such as Iron and Potassium. Order your Passionfruit Box Today
Tropical Avocado Box from $49.00
If you haven’t tried Tropical Avocados, you are in for a treat. To my family, the Tropical Avocado has always been known as an Aguacate, pronounced (ah-gwa-kah-tee). This variety is a staple food in the Caribbean and Latin America where it’s been the most popular variety for generations. Tropical Avocados are also known as green skin avocados because of their shiny and gorgeous shade of green. They are a source of good fats, are hearty, yummy, and are full of nutrients. How do Tropical Avocados taste like? When it comes to taste, they are pretty similar to the Haas avocado although slightly sweeter. They are creamy, luscious, and delicious. They spread very easily and have a buttery and creamy smooth texture. They have a light yellow and green color inside, and the seed can be brittle but that’s OK. The reality is that they are very similar to the avocados you are used to. How are Tropical Avocados better? Larger in size: The first thing you’ll notice is that they are humongous compared to the varieties you can buy at the supermarket. Each Tropical Avocado is about the equivalent of 4 Haas avocados. You can prep just one and feed your whole family. Longer cut life: One of my pet peeves with those other avocados is that they turn black and the flavor changes right away, in the industry they call that oxidizing. The Tropical Avocados oxidize much slower which means that you can cut them and leave them out for longer. You can even keep one in the fridge wrapped in foil for two to three days after you cut them. How do you know when they are ripe? These avocados are ripe while the skin is still green, which is a little confusing if you are not used to them. Luckily, there is a simple way to know when they are ready. How? When you squeeze them and they give in just a little, they are ready to eat. Where are they from? These avocados are grown in the tropics on a beautiful farm in the Dominican Republic. They grow with plenty of natural rain in nutrient-rich soil. They are naturally large, non-GMO and delicious. Our Large Box comes with about 8 to 10 Large Tropical Avocados. Our Regular box has 4 Large Tropical Avocados.
Fresh Lychee Box from $72.00 $87.00
The lychee is a sweet fruit with bumpy skin and a woody texture. This winter variety is from South Africa. Lychees are a close cousin of the Rambutan and the Longan that we’ve featured recently. They are about the size of a golf or ping pong ball with a translucent white flesh that has the texture of a grape but a little firmer. Inside, you’ll find a beautiful brown seed. (Don’t eat the seed, please.) What do Lychees taste like? The taste has been described as floral and that’s exactly what we think it tastes like. It’s sweet, refreshing and it’s been a favorite of restaurants and bars for exotic drinks like martinis, mojitos, and sangrias. If you’ve never tasted Lychee, you are going to love this little fruit. It’s incredibly refreshing, and you’ll never forget its flavor. Get your Lychees before they're gone. We have a limited batch now, so order your box today and enjoy!

Fresh Sapodilla | Zapote | Chico Box from $77.00 $129.00
We have Sapodilla! After a crazy season, we were able to get our hands on a small batch of the ever-popular Sapodilla, also called Nispero, Chico Fruit, Zapote, Zapotillo, and Tree Potato, which curiously, tastes nothing like a potato. As a matter of fact, comparing this fruit to a potato is our new apples and oranges. So, from now on, to show that you are an Exotic fruit connoisseur, you'll say while slightly elevating your nose, it's like Sapodillas and Potatoes. People might look at you funny but Tropifruiters and the Fruitarians are going to revere you, but I digress... What does it taste like? This is definitely a dessert fruit, it's very sweet and has oaky, light molasses notes, and the flavor of brown sugar and roasted sweet potato. You can just chill it and eat it with a spoon, it's that good! The Sapodilla is a close cousin of the Mamey Sapote, Canistel, and Caimito, also known as Star Apple. Some of our very favorites. This is a very special fruit, the skin is light brown and the flesh has a beautiful golden brownish caramel color that reminds me of the sands of the Sahara. You know it's ripe when it's starting to soften and gives slightly to the touch. You know, it feels soft without being overly soft. When it's ready, pounce! You don't want to let this one pass you by. Life is too short. The regular box contains 5 pounds of Sapodilla and the large box has 8 pounds. **Sorry California not allowed into your state.**

Breadfruit (Panapen, Ulu) Box from $89.00
Breadfruit is considered by many the food of the future, Breadfruit also called Ulu or Panapen and it's been a staple food in the Pacific islands for over 2000 years. Ulu is an important part of the local food tradition and folklore in Hawaii. It can be prepared like a fruit or a vegetable since it's incredibly versatile. When roasted, it feels and tastes like baked bread, hence the name. Fun facts about Breadfruit Sir Joseph Banks, a sailor who embarked with Captain Cook to Tahiti in the 18th Century famously said that if you planted 10 breadfruit trees in your life, you or your future generations would never go hungry, we paraphrase of course. It is said that the famous mutiny of the H.M.S Bounty happened because of Breadfruit! The mission of the Bounty was to transplant more than 1000 young breadfruit trees, but they arrived late. Fate would have it that in the months they spent waiting, the crew grew enchanted with the island and didn’t want to leave. Forced to depart, the unhappiness of the crew eventually turned into mutiny. So there you have it, breadfruit has a long history! According to scientists, it has an amazing future in the food security of many nations and the world. Sir Joseph Banks was right! Order your Breadfruit box today, please note they are not currently mature.
Fresh whole Jackfruit in a Box $109.00 $129.00
The Jackfruit is the largest fruit in the world. No kidding. Believe it or not, the Jackfruit is a close cousin of the fig and breadfruit. It grows in tropical areas and since we live in one, we can usually procure a few. The Jackfruits are hot. This is one of the hottest "newly discovered fruits" that people are using as a vegan meat replacement because of its meaty texture and awesome neutral flavor that will take the flavor of the sauce or spices you use. This fruit is huge, we can only fit one in a box so we are talking about a single fruit that weighs in at about 10 to 14 pounds. I held one up for a picture and it was a total workout!
Premium Tropical Golden Pineapple Box $49.00 $59.00
This mighty pineapple needs no introduction. Also called ananas, believe it or not, it's native to South America. The Europeans called it Pine-Apple because to them, it resembled a pine cone. Pineapples are exotic fruits although they are so common that we don't consider them as such anymore. These pineapples have an amazing flavor profile. They are sweet, juicy, and refreshing. If you are looking for the Pinkglow™ Pink Pineapple, you have the wrong box. These golden pineapples are delicious but are definitely not pink. What's in the box? The box contains 4 large Golden Pineapples. All this is great but the reality is that these pineapples are delicious, are pretty huge, fresh, and especially hard to find at the moment. Get them while you can.
Fresh Star Apple (Caimito) Box from $109.00
What's going on with all these fruits with multiple names? It's a thing, trust me. The Caimito, as we know it, also known as Star Apple, Caimito, Purple Star Apple, Abiaba, Pomme de Lait, Milk Fruit, and many more. The Caimito is a relative of the Mamey, Sapote. When you cut the skin, you can see the star pattern that gave it its name. The Caimito tastes like sweet caramel custard, that's why it's very commonly used as a dessert, just chill and eat with a spoon. Important note: Don't take a big bite out of your caimito since you only should eat the interior fruit flesh. That pulp around the seeds is where it's at. Needless to say, don't eat the seeds either. The Regular Box contains 5 pounds of purple caimito and the Large Box contains 8 pounds. They are both tree-ripened and hand-picked.

Sweet, creamy but not overwhelming. Some say they are like eating a banana soufflé. When do you know they are ripe? The universal banana ripeness indicator is firmness. When they start getting softer and their color lightens, they are good to go.
