The pome in pomegranate comes from the Latin word for apple and granate from the word for seed. Originally from Persia and northern India, pomegranates are now cultivated around the world, this variety comes to us from California.Ancient texts describe the pomegranate as a sacred fruit that brought fertility, abundance and luck. We need at least two of those these days. Today, the pomegranate has a whole bunch of health benefits that we are sure our Tropifruiters are pretty well versed in. The peel of the pomegranate is inedible, but once you open the red exterior, you'll find a beautiful array of crimson-colored seeds that have a tart, tangy and sweet combination of flavors that will leave you wanting more.

One of the most coveted varieties of mango, the Francis or Francine is now available from Ecuador. This mango is sweet, fruity, bold and a little spicy which will take you all the way back to 2019, when the world was still normal.
Handpicked in the fertile soil of Ecuador, this mango has a bright yellow skin with green overtones. Its oblong S shape makes it look very feminine and it has very easy to peel skin and stringy texture.
As it ripens, the green color starts to dim and the yellow turns into a golden color.
This mango grows only in small batch farms in Haiti in the summer and currently Ecuador in winter/spring.

The rambutan, also called Ngoh is a tropical fruit native of Asia. The name rambutan comes from the Malay word that means hairy and when you see one, you’ll understand.
Once you peel the skin away, you'll see a beautiful white flesh that has a sweet and sour combination that's pretty unique. It's a close cousin of the lychee in flavor profile but the rambutan is sweeter.

Soursops have very different shapes and sizes that's why we sell it by weight. That said, we always err in your favor.
What does Soursop / Guanabana Fruit taste like?
If you never had a Soursop you are in for a treat. The flavor profile is a creamy texture that tastes like a combination of pineapple with a hint of strawberry and a sour citrusy note. The creamy texture can be associated with a smashed banana when it's ripe and it's usually eaten with a spoon. Many of our Tropifruiters love to make smoothies or the Brazilian popular drink called champola.
Where does our Soursop come from?
We get regular Soursop shipments flown in and they sell pretty fast so if you see we don't have it in stock, come back in a few days, especially at the beginning of the week and we usually have it.
Due to its delicacy, Soursop requires special handling and will be shipped on the day it arrives in its weekly or biweekly shipment so it can get to you in perfect condition. You don't have to pay extra for this awesome perk. That's why we are the #1 Soursop distributor online.

Mangosteen near me? Yes! Exotic Fruit Lovers rejoice! We’ve got the crown jewel, the queen of all fruits, the elusive, seductive, and much revered purple Mangosteen. It’s said that Queen Victoria would bestow a knighthood to anyone who could get her fresh mangosteen. Since UPS wasn't invented at the time, alas, no titles were granted.
The Mangosteen is round and has a reddish-purple rind with a white creamy flower-shaped flesh. The flavor is so unique that it is hard to describe. People who taste these things for a living say it feels like a combination of a Lychee with strawberry and peach notes. It tastes pretty darn special.
