Fresh Sugar Apple | Sweet Sop | Anon Box
from $109.00
Sugar Apple, just saying it aloud makes you want to eat a big piece, even if you’ve never tasted it before. The Sugar Apple is also known as Sweet Sop or Anón. The fancy scientists call it Annona squamosa, we started adding their fancy names because our Tropifruiters are very inquisitive.
This is what you do. It’s ripe when you can pull it apart and starts giving to the touch. Grab it with both hands and use your thumbs to separate the segments. When you separate the little knobs or lobes and expose the interior, you are in for a real treat.
The creamy flesh has the consistency of a custard, like the one Grandma used to make, but this tastes much better because it has a hint of a minty finish. Sorry Granny, we still love you. Remember to take out the seeds, you can do it before you eat the flesh or just put the lobes in your mouth and work out the seeds, as the seeds are not edible.
Sugar Apples are super rare and cultivated in very small batches. We only get a handful at a time and they literally fly out the door. Don't say we didn't warn you!
The current variety is green and from Florida and unfortunately cannot ship to California.
Star Apple | Caimito Box
from $109.00
It's a thing, trust me. The Caimito, as we know it, also known as Star Apple, Caimito, Purple Star Apple, Abiaba, Pomme de Lait, Milk Fruit, and many more. What's going on with all these fruits with multiple names? The Caimito is a relative of the Mamey, Sapote.
The caimito, AKA the star apple, is a delicious tropical fruit native to Central and South America. It's named for the star-like shape of its cross-section magically revealed when the fruit is cut in half. The fruit's skin ranges from green to purple, and the flesh is soft and creamy, with a sweet and slightly tangy flavor.
Caimito trees are medium-sized and can grow up to 50 feet tall. They are prized for their beautiful, glossy leaves and fragrant flowers, which bloom in clusters and have a delicate, jasmine-like scent. The fruit is round or oval and typically measures around 4-6 inches in diameter.
The caimito is a highly nutritious fruit, rich in vitamins and minerals. It is a good source of vitamin C, which helps to boost the immune system and protect against illness. It also contains a range of B vitamins, including thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin, essential for maintaining healthy skin, hair, and eyes.
The caimito is a versatile fruit that can be eaten fresh or used in many dishes. It can be sliced as a refreshing snack or used to make jams, jellies, and preserves. It is also a popular ingredient in smoothies and juices and can make a refreshing sorbet.
The caimito is a delicious and highly nutritious fruit worth trying. Whether you enjoy it fresh or use it in cooking and baking, this tropical treat will surely delight your taste buds and provide various health benefits.
How to eat Caimito
When you cut the skin, you can see the star pattern that gave it its name. The Caimito tastes like sweet caramel custard, that's why it's very commonly used as a dessert, just chill and eat with a spoon.
Important note: Don't take a big bite out of your caimito since you only should eat the interior fruit flesh. That pulp around the seeds is where it's at. Needless to say, don't eat the seeds either.
Our Caimito is tree-ripened and hand-picked. Current variety is green and grown in Florida. Get your box today.

Fresh Lychee Fruit Box
from $69.00
$87.00
Lychee Lovers, we know you are wondering...
Where can I find Lychee fruit near me?
Well, we have the answer and it's easier than you think. You can have top quality fresh lychee fruit delivered to your door with free shipping and our powerful freshness guarantee! Lychee Fruit is a tropical delicacy and one of our trending fruits this year.
The lychee fruit is a sweet fruit with bumpy skin and a translucent flesh with the most amazing texture. Lychees are a close cousin of the Rambutan and the Longan that we’ve featured recently.
They are about the size of a golf or ping pong ball with translucent white flesh that has the texture of a grape but is a little firmer. Inside, you’ll find a beautiful brown seed. (Don’t eat the seed, please.)
What does Lychee Fruit taste like?
The taste has been described as floral and that’s exactly what we think it tastes like. It’s sweet, refreshing and it’s been a favorite of restaurants and bars for exotic drinks like martinis, mojitos, and sangrias.
If you’ve never tasted Lychee, you are going to love this little fruit. It’s incredibly refreshing, and you’ll never forget its flavor.
Can you eat lychee fruit raw?
Absolutely, lychees are usually eaten raw. You just need to peel the skin and remove the seed and you'll have a perfectly transparent looking skin that's truly delicious.
Can you eat fresh lychee?
That's how we prefer it. When you pierce the skin and the juice just squirts out is probably one of the most satisfying experiences other than peeling the skin with your mouth and letting the juice flow into your mouth. It's quite delicious and trust us, you'll want to want to do it over and over.
People use it to make the most delicious drinks as a garnish, in salads and to supercharge any fruit bowl but the sky is the limit with this little fruit.
Is Lychee a Healthy Fruit?
Lychees are high in Vitamin C and antioxidants so eat away. We won't stop you and remember, no matter the size of the box you order, you'll probably regret not ordering more.
Get your Lychees before they're gone. We have a limited batch now, so order your box today and enjoy!
Soursop | Guanabana Fruit Box
from $119.00
This is it! We have Soursop! You might know it as Guanabana Fruit or Graviola. Soursop is the ultimate tropical and exotic fruit treasure. Native to Central, South America and the Caribbean, this exotic fruit wonder is one of our most popular fruits.
Soursops have very different shapes and sizes that's why we sell it by weight. That said, we always err in your favor.
What does Soursop / Guanabana Fruit taste like?
If you never had a Soursop you are in for a treat. The flavor profile is a creamy texture that tastes like a combination of pineapple with a hint of strawberry and a sour citrusy note. The creamy texture can be associated with a smashed banana when it's ripe and it's usually eaten with a spoon. Many of our Tropifruiters love to make smoothies or the Brazilian popular drink called champola.
Where does our Soursop come from?
We get regular Soursop shipments flown in and they sell pretty fast so if you see we don't have it in stock, come back in a few days, especially at the beginning of the week and we usually have it.
Due to its delicacy, Soursop requires special handling and will be shipped on the day it arrives in its weekly or biweekly shipment so it can get to you in perfect condition. You don't have to pay extra for this awesome perk. That's why we are the #1 Soursop distributor online.
***Please note due to seasonal soursop volumes, we are receiving and shipping biweekly boxes.***
